Florida Pickleball Tournaments 2024: US Open, APP, PPA, and More

According to the latest count by Pickleheads, Florida has 1,065 pickleball courts, all public and free to use. Regardless of which data you will check, Florida is always the leading state where people play pickleball. No wonder there are also lots of pickleball events a year. So, if you want to join tournaments in the Sunshine State, here is a massive list of pickleball tournaments in Florida in 2014.

US OPEN Pickleball Championships 2024

The Minto US Open Pickleball Championships is considered the biggest pickleball tournament in the world. This annual tournament is held at the East Naples Community Park in Naples, which has 64 professional pickleball courts. Here is the complete list of the 2024 US Open Pickleball Championships:

USA Pickleball-Sanctioned Tournaments 2024

Aside from the annual national championships, USA Pickleball, the nation's governing body of pickleball, also grants qualifying tournaments. This coming year, there is a growing list of pickleball events in various states sanctioned by USA Pickleball. So far, below are the sanctioned tournaments in Florida for 2024:

APP Tour 2024

The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) is the first and only tour officially sanctioned by USA Pickleball. The APP Tour has already released its schedule for 2024. So far, the APP has designated the 2024 APP Sacramento Open and APP Miami Open as 'Golden Ticket' events for the 2024 USA Pickleball National Championships. Here are the APP events in Florida for next year:

PPA Tour 2024

The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) tour differs from the APP Tour because it is more inclined towards top professional players. Last September, the APP and Major League Pickleball (MLP) agreed to merge and released their calendar of events for next year. Here are the PPA and MLP tournaments that will be held in Florida in 2024:

Due to the extreme popularity of pickleball in Florida, the sport is also played in smaller clubs, schools, and communities. Most pickleball tournaments don't belong to major leagues and are not USA Pickleball-sanctioned. Yet, a lot of pickleball fanatics still join them.
