Alabama is not currently among the most pickleball-obsessed US states but is seen as a potential candidate in the next few years. As pickleball courts in the Heart of Dixie rapidly increase, the number of tournaments also grows yearly.
This year, 2024, there are no APP and PPA Tour events or USA Pickleaball-sanctioned events in Alabama. Yet, there are over 25 non-sanctioned tournaments that you can join even if you’re not a member of USA Pickleball.
