Despite ranking 5th in population density, Maryland is missing from the top 20 US states where pickleball is popular. Nevertheless, the Old Line State has over 300 pickleball courts, and the number is rapidly increasing each month.
Maryland is not included in the APP and PPA tours this year, but there are over 25 pickleball tournaments across the state. One of them is USA Pickleball-sanctioned, while the rest are not. It means you have a lot of choices if you are not a member of USA Pickleball.
