California is one of the US states where the sport is trendy. No wonder it is home to two major 2024 APP Tour tournaments - the APP Sacramento Open and the APP Newport Beach Open. Aside from that, there are numerous other upcoming pickleball tournaments across the state - both USA Pickleball-sanctioned and non-sanctioned.
With that, we collected all the 2024 pickleball tournaments in California and put them on a long list. So, make sure to mark your calendars while reading.
APP Tour 2024
The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) is the first and only tour officially sanctioned by USA Pickleball, the nation's governing body. This year, there are 18 APP Tour events, three of which are in California.

2024 PPA Tour
The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) tour is the closest rival of the APP Tour. But unlike the latter, the PPA Tour is geared towards the country's top professional players. Last year, the PPA sealed a deal with the Major League Pickleball (MLP) to broaden its scope and attract more players. Below is the schedule of the 2024 PPA Tour in California.

Aside from the APP Tour, USA Pickleball also sanctions local tournaments provided they meet the requirements. One of them is that all players who join them should be members of USA Pickleball.
