Arizona is the home of the first-ever USA Pickleball National Tournament back in 2009. It's been a few years since then, but plenty is happening today! So, if you're looking for pickleball tournaments in Arizona this 2024, you came to the right place.
The special pickleball event in Mesa this coming March will serve as a Golden Ticket to the highly-anticipated 2024 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships, which incidentally will also be held in Mesa, Arizona.
In addition to this huge one, we'll include both sanctioned and non-sanctioned tournaments. We arranged the schedules per month so you can easily mark your calendars when trying to figure out which ones you will participate in!
2024 USA Pickleball-Sanctioned Events
As the nation's governing body of pickleball, USA Pickleball grants qualifying tournaments where players can enjoy many benefits. Note, however, that you should first sign up as a member of USA Pickleball before you can join these events. Below is the list of USA Pickleball-sanctioned tournaments in Arizona this 2024:

2024 PPA Tour
The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) has agreed to merge with Major League Pickleball (MLP) in September 2023. The PPA Tour is not USA Pickleball-sanctioned, meaning you can join their tournaments even if you're not a member of USA Pickleball. Yet, PPA events are equally huge and cater to professionals and amateurs.
