Pickleball was invented in Bainbridge Island, Washington, in 1965 and is the state’s official sport. It is also the home of the world’s first pickleball court, so it’s not surprising that there are many pickleball tournaments in Washington every year.
The PPA Tour in Seattle was chosen as a Golden Ticket qualifier for last year's 2023 USA Pickleball National Championships. However, the 2024 PPA Tour in Seattle this July is not a golden ticket this year.
Florida is the home of the US Open Pickleball Championships, while Washington has a rapidly increasing number of local tournaments. This 2024, the Evergreen State has over 30 non-sanctioned tournaments from which you can choose.

Non-Sanctioned Pickleball Tournaments 2024 in Washington
With non-sanctioned pickleball tournaments, you don’t have to be a member of USA Pickleball. Therefore, the result will not affect your ratings. These events are usually held in small communities and for charity work. Below is the complete list of non-sanctioned events in Washington State in 2024.
