Some might think pickleball is rare in Louisiana due to frequent rains. But in recent years, the Pelican State has seen an increase in pickleball courts and events. In fact, there are at least 20 pickleball tournaments in Louisiana in 2024.
Among them are now 23 non-sanctioned events and one sanctioned event. This means that most tournaments don’t require players to be a member of USA Pickleball. They may not be as huge as those in Florida, but they are still fun to join.
So go ahead and check the list below. If you stay in Louisiana, you will likely find a pickleball tournament near you.
