Illinois has over 520 pickleball courts and continues to expand rapidly. Unsurprisingly, the Prairie State is consistently among the top 10 pickleball-obsessed states. Needless to say, pickleball tournaments are becoming a familiar scene every year.
As of this writing, there are 32 pickleball tournaments in Illinois in 2024. The most important is the APP Tour event in Chicago from August 28 to September 1. The rest of the events are listed below.
2024 Illinois Non-Sanctioned Events
Unlike in the APP Tour events, you don’t have to be a member of USA Pickleball to join non-sanctioned events. The game results will also not affect your UTPR rating.
